The Animal Band

Tap an animal and it stands up, says its name, and joins the song. Tap it again and it sits down. When the time is up, everybody says bye bye.

A band your toddler conducts

Six animals sit on stage, each holding an instrument. Tap one and it stands up, says its name, and joins the song at the top of the next bar. Tap it again and it sits down. Every part is written to sound right alone and with any of the others, so there is no wrong way to play.

Each animal says one short word as it stands up, and the music drops right down while it does, so the word comes through clearly enough to copy. Every Monday a new friend knocks on the stage door, comes in with their own instrument and stays for the week.

You choose how long it plays: 4, 6 or 10 minutes. When the time is up the animals say bye bye one at a time and the curtains close. To start again, a grown-up has to press and hold, so a quick tap from a toddler will not do it.
