A little party for the days that matter

Each celebration opens three days before its day and stays for one day after. Until then it is a countdown in sleeps, with one moon for each, so a small child can count down to Diwali on the screen. Waiting is most of the fun, and nothing on the page can skip it.

On the day there is one thing to do: tap the diyas, pumpkins, baubles, rockets or bowls of colour one at a time until they are all lit. Then Claude says the word for the day slowly, waits for your child to try it, and says it again. If they have a go, tap the word and Claude cheers.

Add Grandma's birthday, or anyone's, under Grown-ups and it becomes a party with her name on the cake. Like every name on this site, it stays in this browser on this device.
