Nothing about your child leaves your device.
The short version
Clauddler has no accounts, no sign-up and no login. Your child's key presses and taps are handled entirely by your own browser and are never sent to us or to anyone else.
What we store on your device
The game keeps one preference in your browser: whether you last used light or dark theme for the site. It is stored locally, it contains no identifier, and clearing your browser data removes it. Mute and night-mode settings inside the game are not saved at all — they reset each visit.
Analytics
We count visits, so we can tell whether the site is worth continuing to run. Two tools do this: Vercel Analytics, which is aggregate and cookieless, and PostHog, which records which pages were opened and when. PostHog is deliberately run with session recording turned off and automatic interaction capture turned off, so what your child presses on screen is never recorded or transmitted. No profile is built, nobody is identified, and no data is used for advertising.
What analytics stores in your browser
PostHog keeps an anonymous, randomly generated visit identifier in your browser’s local storage so that two page views in the same visit are not counted as two separate people. It is not a cookie, it is not shared with any other site, and it contains nothing about you or your child. Clearing your browser data removes it. Vercel Analytics stores nothing at all.
Children
This site is intended to be used by children with a parent or carer present. We collect no personal information from anyone, so we hold no personal information about children, and there is nothing to request, correct or delete. Analytics is limited to counting page views, which is why session recording and interaction capture are switched off rather than left at their defaults.
Third parties
The game itself loads no third-party scripts, no advertising networks and no social media widgets. The only outside services involved are the two analytics tools described above and Vercel, which hosts the site and processes standard server request logs as part of delivering the page.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear on this page. Any change that affected data collection would be described here in plain language.
